I just learned of Raj's passing yesterday from my friend Paul Harrington.. i was extremely saddened to hear the news. I worked at D. E. Shawn until I left the firm at the end of 2012. I considered Raj a friend and enjoyed our spirited conversations. He spoke proudly of his children's accomplishments. He was such a sweet man. Please accept my sincere condolences.

So sorry to belatedly learn of this.
There were a lot of very smart people at Seer but Raj mos def stood out as someone who—despite the fact that he was invariably a gentleman and patient with those not as mentally swift as he—when you found yourself in disagreement with, you learned to double- and triple-check your opinion or conclusion, because the odds were good you were wrong.
The world is poorer for his passing.

I will miss a very humble, super smart, caring man. He was a great bridge player and spent a lot of time at IIT playing it. He was also amazing at preparing for tests spending less than 1/10th the time the rest of us took and still acing the exams. I have fond memories of Rajan. Om Namah Shivayah.

Dear Meena,Vikram and Arjun,
Our sincere condolences in the passing of Raj. He was a wonderful man who always had a smile and would always take the time to chat with us about our families etc. Never wanted to speak about himself, always about everyone else. This guy did not have a bad bone in his body, never judged anyone and always looked for the good in people. Raj is in Heaven smiling down on all of you.

Raj was such a wonderful person. I remember our conversations about the many books we read during book club. He was insightful, open minded, and enthusiastic. Your passing comes as such a surprise to me and such a loss to everyone who knew you. You are gone way to soon and will be missed. God bless your wife and children during this difficult time.
