My deepest sympathy to the family. Mary and I worked together as Asst Prosecutors in Essex County. Our friendship go back as far as the birth of Jessica. I still have a picture of Jessica sitting in this huge chair when she was age 2. Russ was the love of her life. During lunch I heard endless stories about Russ. She loved her husband and children dearly! She was such a great and kind soul. Her smile, laughter and spirit gave everyone a feeing of assurance. I was her friend from Philly and she was my NY buddy! May God bless her soul and continue to watch over her family. Love ya Mary, Gwen Blue.

We called her BROOKLYN MARY, and she referred to herself as that when she came to visit me in HOHOKUS> We always found things to talk and laugh about. Her visits were always pleasant and uplifting...YOU never could be blue if she was around. I will miss her. Eventually we will meet again, and laugh among the clouds

I worked with Mary at the Prosecutor's Office when she was in the trial section. She had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. More importantly, she was a wonderful person.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Russ and your beautiful children. Mary was my friend for many years at the Essex County prosecutors office. We became first time mothers together and now there is a hole in my heart. Mary always had a smile and a shoulder to cry on she will be missed everyday. May God bless you and grant you peace.

Mary has been my confidant, my guide and my friend throughout my journey in the Children's System of Care.
