Shea, John T., age 73, of Waldwick, passed away November 28, 2017. Beloved husband of Alice C (NEE: Legg) Shea. Loving father of Michael A. and wife Amy Shea, and Timothy W. Shea. A parishioner of St. Luke’s RC Church, Ho-Ho-Kus, John received his BS from Manhattan College, and earned his Masters Degree in Economics from NYU. After working at Manufacturers Hanover Trust for 23 years, he was a Catholic School teacher, a substitute teacher at Waldwick High School, and a School Bus driver for Scholastic Bus. He was also an umpire for the Waldwick Baseball Association. John was an AVID Notre Dame football fan, and among his favorite activities were taking Michael fishing, and watching Timothy play football. Funeral Mass will be Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Luke’s RC Church, with interment to follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery, both in Ho-Ho-Kus. Visiting Friday 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ara Parseghian Foundation, Nieman Pick Disease Type C, 4729 E.
