Tribute

William J. Crosby, 85, of Glen Rock, passed away on September 28, 2020. He is survived by his dear wife Barbara Crosby (nee: McCrystal). William is also survived by his loving children, daughter Barbara Sellix and her husband Peter, son William F. Crosby, and son Kenneth J. Crosby. Cherished grandfather to Kristen Sellix, Kara Kushnir and her husband Michael, and Kathryn Sellix. Hewas predeceased by his sister Kathleen J. Crosby. William was born and raised in Manhattan. He graduated from La Salle High School in 1953. He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Iona College in 1957. A proud veteran of the US Army. William was an active member of the Activities Club, The Hobbyists, and the Investment Club and the Knights of Columbus. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Catharine’s Church in Glen Rock where he was an usher. In his free time, William enjoyed golfing and watching the New York Giants. He was active in the Glen Rock Baseball association and played on the Hillman Ave Men’s Softball Team. Visiting will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday at 9:30am at St. Catharine RC Church, Glen Rock. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Acorn at campacorn.org

OUR VISITATION POLICY & PROCEDURES
We will allow 33 people at a time into the funeral home. You MUST be wearing a mask to enter, and masks must be worn AT ALL TIMES. Every 1/2 hour, we will clear the funeral home of guests (not family), sanitize, and reopen for 33 more guests. The sanitizing will take approximately 5 minutes each time. Inside the funeral home there are tape marks on the floor to promote social distancing, and there will be an orderly line to pay your respects. There will be a one way flow of visitors as entry is allowed only through the front door and exiting only through the back door. Once a visitor leaves they are not permitted back into the building.
