Franzese, Thomas Joseph, “TJ”, 24, of Allendale, passed away April 19, 2017. Beloved son of Thomas Edward Sr., and Lauren (NEE: Harnack)., and loving brother of Samantha. Adoring grandson of Richard and Margaret Harnack, and the late Frank and Marion Franzese. Revered Nephew of Todd Harnack (Sue); Kurt (Linda) Harnack; Billy (Marisa) Franzese; and the late Frank Franzese; Sharon Pettit; Carmen (Joseph) Echevarria; Linda (Frank) Laudieri; Diane Valunas (Late husband Robert); Doreen (Dino) Baldoni; Lori Benvenuto; Marion (Rick) Pilitowski; and the late Toni Franzese. Also survived by 30+ loving cousins. A parishioner of Guardian Angel RC Church in Allendale, Thomas was a 2010 Graduate of Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey. Attended Union College Schenectady NY until 2014, and was currently attending Ramapo College. While at Don Bosco, TJ played on the National Championship Football Team 2009, where he was a running back/slot back. He also played the same position on the 2008 and 2009 State Championship Football Teams. TJ also played 4 years of baseball in all positions of the outfield. His sophomore year the Don Bosco Baseball team was ranked # 2 in the USA. While at Union College TJ was Liberty League All league Running Back three years in a row (2011, 2012, and 2013). Funeral Mass will be Monday 10:00 AM at Guardian Angel RC Church, Allendale, with interment to follow in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood.
