Theresa Phyllis Byrd

Theresa Phyllis Byrd (Morreale), 91 of Midland Park, formerly of Manahawkin and Closter, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2020. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard, who passed away four days prior, on December 25, 2020. Theresa leaves her son Glenn Byrd and his wife Joan, daughter Debra Hofmeister and her husband Ray, and son Richard and his wife Anita. Adoring grandmother to Jonathan (Yasmine), Jaclyn (Kevin), Kelly (Wayne), Casey, Justin, Kristen, Kimberly, Katherine and Emmalyn. Great-grand-mother to Wyatt, James, Mason, and Vienna. She was predeceased by her brothers, Bernard and James, and her sister, Virginia Conti. Theresa was an avid gardner, cook, and knitter. However; she loved being with her family most of all. She was a member of the Beach Haven West Civic Association, and the Stafford Italian American Club. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:30 at Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood. Prayer Service will begin at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Theresa’s name to Family Promise of Bergen County.
