Rosemary was such a kind and classy lady.
My mother Agnes and I often saw Rosemary after Mass. She would come over and ask how we were and enthusiastically update us on Maryann and how proud she was of her.
My mother, who passed away this past May, enjoyed watching the St. Patrick's Day Parade and we always looked for Rosemary. One year, we taped the Parade and when we watched it, my mother was overjoyed to see Rosemary with her smiling Irish eyes in the grand stand! We surprised her with the tape after Mass. She hand wrote the most beautiful letter of thanks. We were so overwhelmed by her grace and generosity. Rosemary knew how to make people feel special.
My mother and I always admired Rosemary for her strength and Irish spirit. We were blessed to have known such a wonderful and beautiful soul. I will always remember her.
My deepest sympathies.

Nobody gave a greater or bigger greeting than Rosemary! Her uproarious laugh filled with the room with joy!!
Never an unkind word spoken. Always encouraging. Always supportive.
I will NEVER forget her "Good for you!" affirmations. They meant the world to me and I will treasure them always.
Rosemary loved life, her family, the Church, and her culture. She was so proud of, as she would always say, "My Maryann."
Rosemary was a true example of someone who lived her life well.
"Good for you, Rosemary!"
You are forever remembered.

Maryann,
There is so much that should be written about your Mom. She was larger than life, and you were exactly right when you said that she made all of us feel like we were the most important person to her, and that she loved us all unconditionally.
You were a very special light in her life, like no other A true gift from God, and one that she loved, cherished and nurtured in her own special way. I know you know this, but it is always good to hear.
There are many funny stories that can be told about your Mom, some of them even in public. I am sure we will share a number of them over the next two days, and I look forward to that. She could make us laugh and feel good by just walking into the room...and taking her coat off.
Here's to one last red lipstick kiss left on some unsuspecting family member or friend, as the badge of honor that Aunt Rosemary left on us all at one point or another.
With all my love,
Kevin.

I had the pleasure of working with Rosemary on the Election Board at Willard School in Ridgewood, NJ for a few years. She was such a vibrant and lively woman who could certainly keep us all entertained with her many stories and wisdom. . She always spoke so highly of all of her family. Rest in peace for a life well lived.
