Rosemary B. (Dillon) Donoghue, 94 of Ridgewood died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2017. She was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. Rosemary earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Notre Dame College of Staten Island, NY. She moved to Ridgewood with her husband John in 1953, where they raised seven children. Rosemary was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. She enjoyed summers at the Jersey Shore, especially Spring Lake, as well as visits to NYC. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Rosemary will always be remembered for her deep faith, kindness, grace and generosity. She was pre-deceased by her husband John in 1994, and her sister Bette Roemke in 2013. Cherished mother of John (Anna) of Ankeny, IA, Rosemary Bohlin (Dennis) of Glen Rock, Michael (Colleen) of Glen Rock, Bernadette Albrecht of Samsonville, NY, Ellen Donoghue of Hawthorne, Diane Donoghue of Hawthorne and James (Kelly) of Westwood. Beloved grandmother to 18 grandchildren and dear great-grandmother to 13. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and their children. Caring friend to untold numbers. Family will receive friends at the Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood, NJ from 3pm to 8pm on Sunday, May 21st. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 22nd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington to follow.
