Richard A Gibson

Richard A. Gibson, 73, of Ridgewood, passed away on May 16, 2018 at Valley Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Loving father of Kristen Gibson, Kim and husband Brian Rossi. Loving Pop Pop of Bryce Rossi, and devoted brother of Carole Confrancisco. Also survived by former wife Lucille Gibson, his nieces and nephew, his dear friend Johnny Tan, and his dog Nelly. Serving proudly with the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam, Richard received two Purple Hearts. He also supported charities associated with Animal Welfare. Funeral Services will be Monday 10:00 AM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to WoundedWarriorProject.org or HumaneSociety.org would be greatly appreciated.
