February 11, 2006 ~ January 17, 2022 (age 15) 15 Years Old

Tribute

Peter Tyszko, a son, a brother, a warrior and most importantly a kind soul earned his angel wings on January 17, 2022. He was a month shy of his 16th birthday.

Peter was born on February 11, 2006 in New York City to Artur and Jolanta. From the moment he was born his inner joy seemed to shine. Wherever Peter went, whoever he met, he was loved instantaneously.

Peter was a sophomore at Fair Lawn High School. Peter’s love and passion for sports, especially swimming earned him numerous medals. He was a devoted member of the Fair Lawn School Swim team and Hackensack UMC Fitness and Wellness Swim Team, where he was also certified lifeguard. He also loved snowboarding, volleyball, riding his dirt bike, and spending time with friends, family, and his dog, Mocha. What Peter loved most of all was being a loving big brother to Lena.

Peter wanted to go to college, travel the world, most importantly he wanted to make a difference in this world. Well Peter you did! Your courage and grit has given hope to so many people around you. You will be remembered by so many as a hero. Your infectious smile will always be in people’s hearts.

Peter leaves behind his parents, Artur and Jolanta, his darling sister Lena, his dearest babcia (grandmom) Ewa Tapper. Also surviving his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Peter’s family wishes to help other children affected by cancer so in lieu of flowers please make donations in Peter’s name to one of the following:

"God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be;
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered, “Come to me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away;
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove us,
He only takes the best."
