Reeves, Mildred, 99, of Wyckoff, NJ, born in Manhattan, NYC as Carmela Di Verita on September 9, 1917, passed away on July 3, 2017 after a brief decline in her health. Mildred was predeceased by her loving husband J. David Reeves in 1973, her beloved daughter, Linda Reeves Reilly in 2002 and her much adored brother, Francis (Frank) Verito in 2005 and her loving niece, Mary King, in 2006.  She is survived by her son-in-law Robert Reilly and his wife Marge Little Reilly, and her 4 grand-children, Karen Reilly, Matthew Reilly (and wife Siobhan and cherished great-grand-daughter, Sage), Allison Reilly (and her cherished great-grand-children Alexa, Ryan and Connor), and last but not least, Sarah Reilly. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Amy Verito and her niece, Fran and nephew, Jeff.

Mildred was affectionately known as “Mom Reeves” and more recently as “GiGi" (great-grandmother) to those close to her, in spirit and respect for her youthful appearance and outlook on life. Mildred was a pioneer in many ways with regards to healthy-living, eating and nutritional supplementation; all of which clearly had a profound impact to her longevity. Her passion for sharing her knowledge of this lifestyle was fully realized by all of those close to her. She will be remembered for her sharp mind, unfiltered viewpoints, her frank, candid discussions and her honest opinions spoken with conviction and delivered with vigor and spirit. She was a truly unique lady who had lived through so much change and adversity throughout her life, that her grandchildren often looked to her for her keen, intelligent perspective and words of wisdom. Mildred will be missed dearly by her family and her beautiful smile and quick laugh will be forever remembered and called upon in our hearts.
