ILCHISIN- Mildred (nee Malensky) of Ridgewood, NJ passed away peacefully on January 21, 2018 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Frank in 2011 after 68 years of marriage. Mildred is survived by a son Frank Jr. in Florida and by her daughter Sandra, who was her sole caretaker for several years. Subsequently Mildred entered Arden Courts, an assisted living facility, where she was cared for in the capable and loving hands of the staff for three years before her passing. Mildred was predeceased by a son Dennis and by six siblings, Mary Rojek, Fred Malensky, Ann Kolinsky, Helen Triolo, Sophie Pilat and John Malensky. She spoke of them often and now joins them in Heaven along with her husband, son and parents Michael and Catherine Malensky. For many years she and Frank owned a home down the Jersey shore in Ocean Beach Unit 3, NJ where they enjoyed many wonderful summers either alone or entertaining family and friends. She loved swimming in the ocean, especially when others joined her. She and Frank also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and dining out. Mildred was an excellent cook who put out many a beautiful holiday meal. Mildred was a loving, giving person who was always there for her family. Unfortunately in her later years , the only family member there for her was her daughter Sandra, who already misses her more than words could ever say. Rest in peace Mildred. Until we meet again. Funeral service Friday at 10:00 am at Feeney Funeral Home 232 Franklin Avenue Ridgewood, NJ. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ Visiting Thursday 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
