Milan Pavlovic

Milan Pavlovic, 80, of Ridgewood, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021 surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Nada Pavlovic (nee: Petrovic). Beloved father to his son Jimmy and his wife Dragana, his daughter Natalie and Bojan, and his son Nikola. Beloved grandpa and Deda to Emilija, Milenia, Mihailo, Sofia Rose, and Milano Lukas. Milan was predeceased by his grandson Milan, his younger brother Mihailo Pavlovic and his older sister Leposava Kucljak. Milan leaves behind many family members and friends with whom he shared many years of love and friendship. In 1964 Milan immigrated to the United States for freedom; he was lucky to escape communism and was a loyal and proud American. He built his American dream and spent 54 wonderful years married to Nada; and together they raised a beautiful family. Milan was the founding owner of the Country Pancake House and Restaurant in Ridgewood, a popular place and local staple in the community. He was a proud Ridgewood resident and was known for his charitable heart. Milan was proud to serve his country and his community in any way possible. He supported the schools, churches, synagogues, hospital, the Ridgewood Police, women’s shelter, various homeless shelters, the Red Cross, and St. Jude’s - just to name a few. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, an ear for someone who needed a good listener, or a warm meal on a cold day. Milan was someone you could count on and his children will carry on that legacy. In Milan’s free time he enjoyed being with his family, cooking, reading historical nonfiction books, and watching the news and stock market. He was a marathon runner and enjoyed being outdoors. A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 11th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Eulogy service will being at 6:00 pm. In lieu of bringing flowers to the service the family asks that donations may be given to his family who will match donations given and donate all to the Valley Hospital.
