Lynette M Wirtz

Lynette Margaret Wirtz, 74, of Ridgewood, NJ, died unexpectedly on October 21, 2023.
Lyn was born in Durban, South Africa to the late Donald and Joyce Mackintosh.
In 1978, Lyn and Digby left dear family and friends in South Africa with their two-year-old twin daughters and started a new life in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Digby, her siblings John, Keith, and Claire, daughters Michelle Wirtz and Taryn Kramer (Patrick), and beloved grandchildren Olivia, Jack, and Benjamin Kramer.
Her joy of life and thoughtfulness of others will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Lyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend with a passion for travel and entertaining. To say she will be hugely missed is an understatement.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 1:30pm at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Ridgewood, NJ.
