Louise Bortolus, 96, of Waldwick, NJ, passed away April 27, 2021. Louise was born in Azzano Decimo, Italy on July 14, 1924. She was predeceased by her husband Neil Bortolus and son Anthony “Tonino” Bortolus. She immigrated from Italy to Venezuela where she and Neil had their first child Anthony. Following his death they immigrated to the United States and lived in Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs, NJ. She resided in Waldwick, NJ. since 1988. Louise was a tailor who grew up in the family business in Italy making suits. In the U.S. she worked as a seamstress for International Playtex in Paramus, NJ. She is survived by her son Dennis Bortolus, his wife Elizabeth and their children Karen and Glen. Her son Roy Bortolus, his wife Erica and their children Neil Bortolus, Alena Bortolus Dench, her husband Brian T. Dench, and Great Grandson Branson T. Dench.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint Luke’s Roman Catholic Church 340 North Franklin Turnpike Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. 07423, on May 04, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Immediately following she will then be buried at the George Washington Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
