Kenneth “Ken” Langfield

Ken Langfield, 68, of Ho-Ho-Kus, passed away on July 14, 2017. Ken was born in
Hackensack and raised in Glen Rock. Once he graduated from Glen Rock High School, Ken served a full term with the United States Navy. At one point, during this time, he was stationed in Antarctica. It was during this term that he met Lorriane in Christchurch, New Zealand. Upon returning from duty, he married Lorriane and helped run the family businesses, Advance Equipment Corp. and Elco International Inc., in Elmwood Park, with his mother, father and 2 siblings. He resided for most of his life in Ridgewood.

Ken was a hard-working, kind and adventurous man. He loved fishing, boating, camping, cars, travel and reading. But, most of all, Ken loved to spend time with his family. He was an amazing cook and outdoor metal artist - creating beautiful things, both inside and out.

Ken will be dearly missed by his wife Lorriane Langfield, children, Justin Langfield and his wife Michelle, Brad Langfield and his fiancée Michelle Stauss, and Jennifer Langfield and her husband Evan Thrush; grandchildren, Kyle and Anna Langfield, and Liam and Logan Thrush; sister, Veronica Simpson; sister-in-law, Mary Langfield; nephew, Brendon Chinn; and close in-laws from New Zealand, Arnold, Raemond and Thelma, and Murray Chinn. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Edward Langfield, and his brother, Russell Langfield.

Visitation at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood, on July 23 from 2 -
