Katie Dougherty

On June 10, the world lost a kind and gentle soul. Our daughter Katie has left us. Katie was compassionate and had a huge heart for those in need. She was vibrant and funny. A great competitor in basketball and cross-country. She was also a talented musician who could play her guitar and sing with the voice of an angel. Our hearts ache beyond belief. Her spirit will live on forever. Her final gift to the world was the donation of her organs. She would have wanted that. Please remember to say “I love you” to your friends and family every chance you get. Life is short. Love one another.

The family requests no flowers please. A donation in Katie's name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.donordrive.com) or a tree planted in her memory would be greatly appreciated.

OUR VISITATION POLICY & PROCEDURES
On Sunday, we will have 33 people at a time into the funeral home. You MUST be wearing a mask to enter, and masks must be worn AT ALL TIMES. Every 1/2 hour, we will clear the funeral home of guests (not family), sanitize, and reopen for 33 more guests. THE SANITIZING WILL TAKE LESS THAN 5 MINUTES EACH TIME. Once inside, we have the now classic "tape marks" on the floor, promoting social distancing, and an orderly line to pay your respects. Once someone leaves, they are not permitted back into the building.

AT CHURCH
Only 50 people are permitted into church, including clergy. Please stay home.
