John A McElligott

John A. McElligott, of Ridgewood, passed away on September 3, 2018. Born in New York City in 1938, John was the loving husband of Mary (NEE: Bradley). He is also survived by brothers-and-sisters-in-law: Bill and Rosalie Bradley and Kathleen and Bill Williams, as well as by many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Dylan. After graduating with his BS at Manhattan College, John earned his MBA at Fordham University. He was an Aerospace Engineer at several engineering companies and retired from British Areospace Engineering, Totowa, NJ. John was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Ridgewood, a member of the Hobbyists of Ridgewood, and a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels at Christ Church, Ridgewood.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday September 10, 10:00 AM at Mt. Carmel, with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
