John R. Davidson

John R. Davidson, 76 of Wayne NJ passed away on August 5, 2021

John was born in Paterson NJ and was a resident of Ridgewood NJ for 73 years before moving to Wayne 3 years ago. He leaves behind and will be truly missed by his three brothers Jim, Tom and Bob.

John was an Eagle Scout, graduated from Ridgewood High School, attended Bergen Community College and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

He was an Antique dealer for over 40 years and loved the hunt for finding and selling unique items. He especially loved buying, playing and selling 45 rpm records and albums of music from the 50s and 60s! What made him happy was playing disc jockey while listening to the old-time music.

He also loved sports, especially baseball and football, and changed favorite teams over the years to his brother’s chagrins. He liked to root for “the other team”!

Visitation will be Monday August 9th, from 10-11 am at the Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood. There will be a short service at 10:30 am followed by burial with immediate family at the Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that you donate to the American Cancer Society in John’s name.
