James Dreher

James Christopher Dreher, 69, of Waretown, NJ; passed away on September 4, 2021. Born in Ridgewood, NJ. He is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Robert, as well as his late wife, Patricia. He is survived by his loving companion of 30 years, Bernadette, and his siblings, Robert, Joanie, and Rosemary. He was a devoted father and father in law to his daughter Megan and husband Steve, and his son James and wife, Kristi. He was a cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren, Antonio, Annalisa, Mason, Victoria, Julian, Connor, Lila, James, and Amber, and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
James graduated from Paramus Catholic High School and later earned a degree from Manhattan College. He worked for IBM for over 30 years. He was an avid boater and spent many summers down at the Jersey Shore, always dreaming of living on the water. He fulfilled that dream by moving to Waretown, NJ, eighteen years ago, with his love, Bernadette; and had such pride in sharing his love of boating and the sea with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4-8pm. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood, NJ at 10am on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
