Boca Raton FL Howard 86, predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years; Margaret (Peggy) Noonan; passed away at home on 4/11/2021. Howard was a well-known business leader in the IBEW, serving in many capacities for IBEW Local #164 eventually serving as Business Manager for approximately 28 years before retiring. Howard was admired and respected by the Construction industry and fellow IBEW leaders. His many accomplishments include N.J. State electrical contractors license, electrical Inspector, training Instructor, examining board member, financial secretary, representative to N.J State Electrical Workers, Hudson County Building Trades, Bergen County Building Trades, Hudson County Central Labor, Bergen County Central Labor, NJ State AFL-CIO and The National Electrical Code Panel. In addition to his college work, Howard also attended The George Meany Labor Institute receiving Certificates in Psychology and Leadership Training. He was Co-President of the Foundation of Bergen Community College. Howard also served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Fremont APA44 (attack troop transport) during the Korean war from 1952-1956. During his free time Howard was an avid Boater for over 50 years taking his family on boating vacations each summer to distant destinations along the east coast. Howard enjoyed sport fishing, big and small game hunting, sports cars, reciting poetry, and most importantly spending quality time with his cherished family. Howard is survived by his sister Kathy (Mike), sons, Kenneth (Victoria), Warren (Colleen), Larry (Lisa), Grandchildren, Elyse, Christine, Sara, Jacqueline, Blake, Megan, and Great granddaughter Maren. Howard will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May Howard rest peacefully with the love of his life, Peggy. Memorial gathering will occur at Feeney Funeral Home, Ridgewood on Thursday May 6, from 4-7pm
