After graduation from East Brunswick High, he attended and graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with a BA in Political Science. While his career took multiple paths, he always seemed to find himself engaged in some facet of public service, beginning as a bartender, then with American Express Travel and ending as a driving instructor for high school juniors and seniors. No matter what his path, Howie always excelled to the top of his profession and was beloved by all he encountered along the way. He was a great Dad and proud father to his boys whom he loved dearly and drove them to and attended all of their many sporting events. He was smart enough however to leave the homework responsibilities to his very capable and beloved wife Heather who is a dedicated high school science teacher at Glen Rock High School. He will be sorely missed by both family and friends.
