Halina Glowacki

Sadly, we lost our beloved, noble sister and aunt Halina Glowacki, nee Ornaf, to cancer on March 1, 2023. She was 76. She passed away peacefully at home with her family. Halina was extremely well-read, knowledgeable and sharp witted. She loved classical music and opera and would only stop singing and humming along to explain to anyone who would listen, what was happening in the piece. Her legacy is creating a new generation of people who love classical music, opera, traveling and laughing. The world was a better place with her in it and she will be terribly missed. 

A memorial celebration will be held at her home in Franklin Lakes, 869 Pueblo Dr, on March 26, 2023 from 12-4. 

In Halina's generous spirit, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Montecassino Abbey where the 2nd Polish Corps alongside the Allies succeeded in capturing it from the German army. She commemorates this with the red poppies on her car. Montecassino Abbey - Official website
