Welcome to the memorial page for

Frank O. Ramsay Jr.

February 23, 1941 ~ September 13, 2017 (age 76) 76 Years Old
Frank O. Ramsay, Jr. was born February 23, 1941 in Front Royal, VA.  He was the son of Frank O. Ramsay and Fannie (nee: Gillespie). He was raised in the Shenandoah Valley and was brother to 4 siblings. Frank lived 76 years, yet how has the time gone so fast? Frank built a life to be proud of with his wife Lisa (nee: Rocco). They married in August of 1962 and 2017 marked 55 years together. Frank loved family and keeping everyone close, he had his job cut out for him with 6 children Frank III (Tracy), Anthony, James (Kathy), Michele, Robert and Steven (Paula) and 15 grandchildren.  Frank put himself through school and graduated from Pace University with BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Taxation.  He began working at US Trust - Printing Department in 1960, moved to the Audit Department in 1962 and the Trust Department in 1964.  In 1979 he left US Trust as a Senior Trust Officer.  That same year, he moved to Pennsylvania and began working as the President of a Coal Company.  He returned to NJ in 1980 to work for a Financial Advisory Firm in New York City. In 1983 he made the bold decision to form Executive Planning Associates, Ridgewood, NJ – A Financial Advisory Firm where he served as Managing Partner for almost 35 years.  He worked hard, prided himself on being straightforward and honest.  He loved his work and his community.  He served as a member and President of Ridgewood Rotary for over 20 years.  In 2005, along with Jim Kittle, he founded the Sunset Rotary Club that meets weekly in Glen Rock, NJ. He served as a Board Member and Chairman of the Walter D. Head Foundation, a Rotary Scholarship Foundation.  Frank was a loyal supporter of the The Valley Hospital, West Bergen Mental Healthcare, The Center for Food Action, the New Jersey National Guard Food Pantry and numerous other charities.  He taught us to work hard, be honest, smart and funny. He taught us to love and value each other.  We love and thank you for that Dad, your impact will continue in all the days ahead. You have “cast thy bread upon the water”.

No Flowers Necessary: Please make donations to the ALS Foundation at www.alsa.org in memory of Frank O. Ramsay, Jr.
