Frances H. Mahoney (Garrison), 88, of Paramus, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 5, 2017. Born in New York City, Frances lived in the Bronx and Maywood before moving to Paramus 57 years ago. She was a homemaker who also worked part time for the Paramus Board of Education. A very proud grandmother, she loved attending or watching as many of her grandchildren’s sporting and musical events as possible.
Devoted wife of the late Cornelius (Bud) who passed away in 2013. Beloved mother of Kathy Mahoney of Holmdel, NJ, Sharon Palicia and her husband Glen of Pequannock, Neal Mahoney of Morgan Hill, CA, and Patricia Smesko and her husband Raymond of Ridgewood. Cherished grandmother of Ashley Boulos, Christopher Laico, Megan Madison, Kelci, Katie and Claire Smesko. Loving great-grandmother of Luke Boulos. Dear sister of Audrey Dunn and her husband Robert of Hilton Head SC. She also leaves cherished nieces, cousins, family friends and neighbors.
Funeral Friday 9AM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood, and 10AM at The Church of the Annunciation, Paramus. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
