Emil A. Nothofer

NOTHOFER- Emil A. of Glen Rock, NJ died on June 26, 2018 at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Born in Harburg, Germany Emil came to the United States in 1932. He has resided in Glen Rock for fifty one years.
               
He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement he was an accountant with Leskowicz, Brower and Driver of New York. He was a loyal parishioner of St. Anthony’s RC Church Hawthorne, NJ.
              
  He is survived by his beloved wife Dot (nee Kissane) Nothofer. He is also survived by his two loving sons Michael Nothofer and Billy Nothofer and his wife Priya Shahani and his two loving daughters Ellen Kish and husband Jeff and Joan Lindsey and husband Fred. There are eight dear grandchildren surviving.
               
Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30 am at St. Anthony’s RC Church Diamond Bridge Ave. Hawthorne, NJ. Visiting Friday 4:00-8:00 pm at Feeney Funeral Home 232 Franklin Ave. Ridgewood, NJ. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Emil’s memory to Catholic Relief Services 228 W. Lexington St. Baltimore, MD 21201-3443 would be appreciated by the family
