The following excerpt was written by Doris a few years ago, “Is the world a better place because I was here? I didn’t shake the world. I leave no lasting statues, books or music. What I have accomplished is my offering to the world of my four wonderful children, 9 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, each one a special person, unique in his or her own way. The work goes on!
A family celebration of life will be planned in the future. Donations in Doris’ name can be made to West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, NJ.
