Dolores Blumenfeld (nee Connors), dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her, passed away on December 28, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband Jay, devoted daughter Mary Grace, cherished grandchildren David and Jennifer, dear friend Andrea, and many more who were blessed to call her family and friend. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York City by parents Mary Sinco Connors and John Connors, Dolores summered in Meadville, PA, lived in Avon, NY, relocated to Fort Lee, NJ, and settled in Franklin Lakes, NJ. She graduated from St. Simon Stock High School in the Bronx and accomplished a successful administration career in the advertising and banking industries. The highlight of her life and her greatest talent was naturally loving and giving of herself to family and friends; her joy was derived from loving others. Dolores also took great pleasure in ceaseless learning (particularly on her beloved New York City) and enjoying beauty all around her - from arranging stunning floral pieces and home decor, to presenting herself impeccably. While there are no words to describe our devastating loss, those remaining here on earth are comforted knowing she joins her parents, brother Richard Connors, aunt Ellen Ackert, Susan Mallis, Kathy Moran, and other loved ones in heaven. She was special to all, always, and will be remembered with an everlasting love. An intimate gathering to celebrate Dolores’s life will be held in the coming months. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Please visit feeneyfuneralhome.com/tributes/Dolores-Blumenfeld for photos.
