Cheryl Belanger

Cheryl Belanger nee: Kelly, 67, of Jersey City, peacefully passed away on August 17, 2019. Cheryl is met in the afterlife by her dear son Joseph, mother Shirley, father Howard, brother Patrick, nephew Dominick, and son-in-law Stanley. Cheryl was the beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother to Lynn Swift. Cherished Nan to Ethan, Emily, Evan, Justin Jaden, Nelly and Stanley. Mother-in-law to Jacklyn Belanger. Cheryl is survived by her four sisters Gail Kelly, Linda Della Fave and her husband Dom, Cathy Duffy, Doreen DiDonato and her husband Joe. She was a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Jersey City, Cheryl was a friend to all and shared her home and love with everyone. Cheryl’s favorite past time was gardening, arts and crafts, she shared her homemade gifts with all of her friends and family. She found solice in painting and decorating her house. Cheryl was known by many for the years she spent behind the counter at Dunkin Donuts on Central Avenue. Her love for her family and especially her grandchildren will remain in their hearts for years to come. Visiting will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave. Ridgewood. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Visitation, 234 N Farview Ave, Paramus. Cremation will be private
