Carol C. Raffetto, 81, formerly of Ridgewood NJ and Raleigh, NC, died on July 9th 2017. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Ridgewood for 40 years. Carol was a graduate of Ridgewood High School class of '54 and married RHS class of '53 graduate Peter Raffetto. She attended LadyCliff College in Highland Falls, NY. Carol worked for several years at Valley Hospital. She also had a great love for flowers and gardening. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to the Caribbean and around the United States. Their summer house on Long Beach Island provided endless entertainment and 20 years of happy memories for the family Carol is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Peter M. Raffetto. She is survived by her 5 children: Diane DeLorenzo, Paul Raffetto, Lynn Moll, Alison Donnelly and husband Kyle Donnelly, Susan O'Connor and husband Stephen O'Connor, and her 10 grandchildren: Amy and Jennifer DeLorenzo, Cheryl Freeman, Lisa Wolfe and husband Kurt Wolfe, Drew and Rick Moll, Kevin, Ryan and Jason Donnelly, and Seamus O'Connor as well as her sister, Kathryn Collins. Visiting will be on Friday at 2-4 and 7-9 at Feeney Funeral Home 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood. Interment will be private at MaryRest Cemetery in Mahwah.
