Beulah C. Moody, widow of longtime AP labor correspondent John P. Moody, and a former director of the Easterseals (cq) program for disabled children in Pittsburgh, died Sunday (May 27), according to her son. She was 101 years old and lived in Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
She was executive director of Easterseals education program in Allegheny County Pa., from 1974-1986.
Her husband worked for the Associated Press in Pittsburgh from 1950 until 1964, covering labor disputes involving the United Steelworkers and United Mine Workers. John P. Moody died in 2012.
Mrs. Moody is survived by her son, John Moody, the executive vice president and executive editor of Fox News, and two grandchildren, Kate Moody, a TV news anchor in Paris, and John P. Moody, an employee of Google in New York.
