Albert George Senger, 79, of Secaucus formerly of Ridgewood, NJ passed away peacefully on December 15th surrounded by loving family.

Al was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Ridgewood, NJ. He was a graduate of Xavier High School, NYC, Holy Cross College and The University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He served as a Major in the US Army as a Dentist in the Vietnam conflict and the Chief of Dentistry at Rahway State Prison.

He loved dining in NYC, and attending Broadway musicals. Al discovered a talent for painting while in college. His work is cherished by the family. He loved being with his large family and would often be seen with his video recorder or camera documenting family events. He is the last patriarch of the twenty five cousins of his generation.

Al was predeceased by his parents Albert and Florence Senger of Ridgewood, his sisters Constance Brennan and Rita Senger, and brother Richard Senger. He is survived by his sisters Claire Kingsley and Irene Senger, brother in law Robert Kingsley and sister in law Jennifer Senger. His nephews William, Brian, John and Christopher Brennan; James, Edward, Robert Jr., and Matthew Kingsley; Robert and Joseph Kunze; Andrew McGrath; Richard Senger Jr; beloved nieces Elizabeth Kingsley Gugliemini and Kathleen Kunze Molloy. The family would also like to thank Ana Lopez for all the loving care she gave to Al in his last years.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19th from 4PM to 8PM at the Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 20th at 9:30AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Ridgewood. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
