Paul J. O’Connor, age 89, of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, was called to heaven on Friday, April 14, 2017.  Devoted husband of Emily C. O’Connor (née Sullivan) of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ.  Predeceased by his parents William and Marjorie O’Connor and most recently his sister Joan Gustafson.  Loving father to Joan Pilkington and husband William of Allendale, NJ and Patricia Einstein of North Grafton, MA.  Devoted grandfather of Stephanie Tashiro and husband Jun of Miami, FL, Janelle Einstein of Stamford, CT, Jaclyn Pilkington and Connor Pilkington of Allendale, NJ.  Loving great grandfather of Hayden Tashiro of Miami, FL.  Paul is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.  Paul faithfully and proudly served his country in the Navy in WWII and the Korean War.  Paul was a member of the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park, NJ and of the Knights of Columbus in Westwood, NJ.  He earned his business degree at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  He worked for many years in the hospitality industry as a Certified Public Accountant.  He had a lifelong love of the water and boating.  Visitation will be Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 5-8pm at Feeney Funeral Home, 230 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ.
