JOHN J. MCCRUDDEN, born on November 13, 1940, passed away suddenly on July 21, 2017 in Venice, Florida. John previously resided in Waldwick, New Jersey for 45 years. He is survived by his wife Colleen (Langdon) and was the loving and adored father of Keira, Brian and Sarah. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Barbara); and his sister Mary Jane Fallon (Paul) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. John leaves behind his two constant canine companions, Ellie and Babe. He graduated from Iona College in 1962 and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1962 – 1968.
John took pride in the quality of his work as a Contractor in the Sports Flooring business and worked in the tri-state area for many years. He was a volunteer on the Waldwick Ambulance Corps and at Venice Regional Medical Center. John was a loving, kind, generous man and always had a smile on his face. He was adored by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, New Jersey on Thursday at 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ, with internment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.
