Lemieux, Carrie L., (NEE: Nielsen), age 94, of Glen Rock, passed away March 25, 2017. The longest living resident of Glen Rock, she was predeceased by her husband, Maurice in 2008. Loving mother of Louise Lemieux Vielee and husband Robert of Clarks Summit, PA; Maurice Lemieux and wife Anne of Glen Rock; Claire Buchmann and husband Gary of Wyckoff; and Monique Lemieux of Glen Rock. Adoring grandmother of Nicolette, Danielle, Robert and Alyssa Vielee; Amanda, Marissa, and Paige Lemieux; Gretchen and Peter Buchmann; Jacques Lemieux. Carrie was a parishioner of St. Catharine RC Church in Glen Rock since 1957, a member of the Glen Rock Garden Club, Valley Hospital Auxiliary, and the Glen Rock Seniors Club. Carrie loved gardening, bird watching, listening to music and spending time with her family. She worked in the ‘Pink Bank’ in Glen Rock for 40 years. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood. Funeral Mass will be Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Catharine RC Church, Glen Rock, with interment to follow in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
