We are shocked and saddened to hear of Carleton's passing. He was one of the good guys and will always be fondly remembered by Amy and me. We had a ritual together where I would go out to get my newspapers every morning and Carleton would be driving by and wave. He was a true gem and will be missed by all who knew him. Please accept our deepest condolences on this terrible loss. Way to soon.

The entire West Bergen Mental Healthcare family is deeply and profoundly saddened. Carleton was our "go to" in so many different arena's. Over the years, he has talked to so many of the staff and provided consistent, calm, reassuring advice and thoughtful next steps. West Bergen is a better place because of him and for that, we will forever be in his debt.

Carleton's ever smiling face will be framed in our memories forever. He truly was everyone's best friend as he was friendly and welcoming to everyone. He had so much love in his heart for his family, his home town of Ridgewood, the Law, his clients, St. Elizabeth's Church, his buddies at Ridgewood Country Club and The Stablehands, The Rotary Club, and his many, many friends. We have so many wonderful memories of our times together with him and Janel over the past years. We will always remember him and see him in everything that is beautiful and good.

Dear Janet, Court, Justine, Nanette and Family,

Janet and I were so saddened beyond belief to hear about Carleton. It was such a shock and way, way too young.
As classmates and friends at Brown, we were in the same Fraternity, travel companions, suite mates and stayed in touch ever since. He was always inclusive, always had time for conversation, perceptive, a wonderful sense of humor and laugh, cheerful, dependable, open and such high integrity. Carleton was a Rock, a constant, and we will miss him dearly.
Love, Jon Fauver and Janet Duchaine

Such a tragic loss for family, friends, the entire Ridgewood community and the legal community. He was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. We spent many years together in Jamboree and he so enjoyed performing and producing. I will miss him.

I was so sad to hear about Carlton’s passing. I spent many years directing , acting and teaching music for Jamboree. He was one of my “special people.” He was such a gentleman,. I once teased about him being the “full package”a handsome, loving gentle man. I wish Lou and I could be there to celebrate his life. We live in Virginia now. I will hold him close to my heart. Our prayers are with the whole Family.

Dear Janel and family,

I'm so sorry to hear about Carleton's passing. You are all our thoughts and prayers. I have so many wonderful memories of his thoughtfulness, hard work and warmth. He was one of the first people to welcome us to Ridgewood and the Fairfield Ave neighborhood when we moved into town in 1975. You were such wonderful neighbors. Years later he became my lawyer and he saw me through several difficult times. I will never forget his thoughtfulness, hard work and compassion.

When I joined the Ridgewood AM Rotary, he warmly welcomed me. We served on several committees together. He generously offered his time, talent and his office for our committee meetings. I particularly remember his great sense of humor. It was such a pleasure to work with him. He will be dearly missed.
