BOSWELL- Bennye (nee Rambeau) 87 of Ridgewood died on October 6, 2017 at her residence. Born in Bainbridge, Georgia she had resided in Ridgewood since 1963. Prior she had lived in New York City.  She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Omaha, and her Master’s degree from City College in New York. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta. Before retiring Bennye was an elementary school teacher working for the New York Board of Education for many years.   

Bennye was predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald Holmes Boswell in March of this year. Survivors include her loving daughter Juli Tucker (Leonardo) of Hampton, VA, and her two loving sons Gerald Holmes Boswell of Ridgewood and Lindsay K. Boswell & (Dec. wife Sharyn) of Florida. There is one cherished grandson Brice Tucker surviving.

A Family Gathering will be held on Wednesday from 10:00- 11:00 AM at The Feeney Funeral Home of Ridgewood, NJ. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories Washington Township, NJ .
