Arety “Tula” Cotzias, 90, of Ridgewood, entered into eternal life on August 14, 2017. Arety’s smile and loving kind heart carried her family through treasured moments and milestones. Her wisdom was plentiful and her advice profound. “Elegance is about not being noticed, but being remembered”. We will certainly all remember her dignity, elegance and grace.

Arety has lovingly left behind her dearest family, Betty and Harry Homa of New York City, Thalia Gemma of Mahwah, Denise (Goddaughter) and Mike Tyng of Washington, George and Brenda Visas of California and Jimmy and Helen Vardakis of Bayonne; as well as Jason (Godson), Nicole, Foti, Evan, Julie, Alysia, Mercedes and Justin. She will be remembered like a great aunt to Arianna, Aiden, Nico, Luca and Chloe who were fortunate to have been blessed by her kindness, warmth and endless supply of Hagen Daaz ice cream.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 17 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood. Trisagion Prayers will be offered at 7:00 pm.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 18 at 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 467 Grandview Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
